ESI, introduced during the same period, stimulates a puppy's olfactory senses, boosting their environmental awareness and confidence. By integrating ENS and ESI, we ensure each Coffey House Doodle is physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared to become a loving family pet.

From day one, we nurture a bond of trust and love with our puppies. This nurturing relationship builds a foundation of connection, confidence, and trust, serving as a stepping stone for all training. We firmly believe that fostering this bond is one of the most invaluable gifts we can give our puppies during their time with us. It's not just about training; it's about creating a loving, trusting relationship that prepares our puppies for their future families.

The journey to creating confident and adaptable puppies begins as soon as their eyes and ears open. We embark on a comprehensive desensitization program using touch, sight, and sound. Our puppies experience new elements every day, exploring different areas of the home, engaging with various tactile items, toys, sounds, types of flooring, and food dishes.

We're always mindful of our puppies' fear periods, ensuring all experiences are positive and confidence-building, never frightening. This careful approach results in well-adjusted puppies, ready to embrace the world around them and seamlessly become a part of their new families.

Our handling, socialization, and playtime strategies are designed to instill in our puppies the understanding that humans and other dogs are friendly and safe. Our puppies grow up surrounded by love and laughter, providing them with early exposure to family life. As they mature, we gradually introduce them to people of all ages beyond our immediate family, fostering their social skills and adaptability. Moreover, we ensure safe interactions with a variety of dogs at the appropriate age. Our goal is to cultivate confident puppies that greet new people, dogs, and situations with curiosity rather than fear.

A clean upbringing lays the groundwork for efficient potty training. We provide our puppies with specific areas for sleep, meals, bathroom breaks, and play. This early training smooths the path towards successful house training.

Equally important is establishing grooming habits. Our puppies are accustomed to regular baths, drying, coat brushing, nail trims, eye hair trims, and sanitary shaves. By starting these routines early, we make future grooming less stressful for the puppy and ease the transition for new families.

At Coffey House Doodles, we believe in early exposure to various experiences. Starting around the age of 4 weeks, we take our puppies on car rides and stroller walks around our neighborhood. These outings introduce them to diverse sights, sounds, and motions, familiarizing them with movement while ensuring their safety.

Simultaneously, we introduce the concept of crate training. From around 4 weeks, puppies start sleeping in open-door crates. Once they've passed their 5-6 week fear period, we gradually initiate group and individual crate training sessions, typically around 6-7 weeks of age. By the time they're ready to join their forever homes, our puppies are accustomed to sleeping in a closed crate.

Our mission is to find the perfect match between our puppies and their prospective families. To achieve this, we carry out comprehensive assessments before the selection process. This transparency allows families to make an informed choice, ensuring the best possible fit between them and their new puppy.

At Coffey House Doodles, we stand behind the health of our puppies. Each puppy comes with a one-year written health guarantee, which covers genetic conditions as well as hips, heart, and eyes. In addition to this commitment, all our puppies are examined and receive their initial set of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian. For added security and peace of mind, we will also microchip your puppy.

Each puppy departs Coffey House Doodles with a go-home kit to ease their transition into their new homes. The kit includes a collapsible food and water bowl, a sample of their current food, and a comforting blanket carrying the familiar scents of their mother and littermates. We also pack a toy to keep them entertained. Last but not least, the kit contains a detailed folder with the puppy's records and information on training, and more. This kit ensures a smooth transition for both our puppies and their new families.
